Live music will fill the stage at the Chattahoochee Nature Center on the second Sunday of the month from May through September.

"Whether it’s a girls’ night, date night or a you night, nature will provide the perfect backdrop for the evening. Bring a picnic, blanket and plenty of food to share in this relaxed night of fun," a news release said.

Opening night of the 2019 season will feature the soulful stylings of Lindsay Lou, May 12.

"Lindsay Lou has been making personal, poignant music for the last decade. An undeniable powerhouse, Lou's remarkable gifts as a singer, songwriter, musician and performer demand the listener's attention. Her singing floats over the masterful playing and deep groove of her band with both a fierce intensity and a tender intimacy," a news release said.

Following Lou is a lineup including Freddy & Francine, Joe Alterman, Sam Lewis and the indomitable Shemekia Copeland, all paying nature a visit.

Nestled along the banks of the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, the Chattahoochee Nature Center is metro Atlanta’s nature destination, connecting people with nature through fun and educational programming, family events and experiences along the river.

The Sundays on the River concert series is presented by Northside Hospital Healthcare System with special thanks to Lee J. Howard Entertainment.
