Longer and warmer days bring more opportunity for time outdoors, and the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell is embracing it.
CNC has announced new, longer hours.
The new operating hours began April 1; Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 7 p.m.
“The new hours allow guests to see more of the morning in our wooded hiking trails and boardwalk or stay for a relaxing sunset in the evening, “ said a news release.
The new hours also coincide with the opening of the Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures zipline and canopy walk, CNC’s newest adventure attraction.
“There’s more time in the day to connect with nature, and we will be open to help do that,” said Chattahoochee Nature Center Executive Director Chris Nelson.
Attendees can take more time to explore the EcoTinker interactive exhibits, canoe trips on the “‘Hooch” or watching the butterflies.
Those activities are a few examples of happenings at the nature center.
Nelson expressed excitement for summer and “all the outdoor fun to be had outside at CNC.”
