Savor Avalon

North American Properties Atlanta managing partner Mark Toro toasts with friends at last year’s Savor the Boulevard.

Seared ahi tuna, espresso crusted beef carpaccio and fresh berry panna cotta are just a few of the exclusive, one-night only menu items that will be offered along Avalon Boulevard when Savor the Boulevard returns for the second year.

On June 2 from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Avalon will transform into the ultimate foodie haven for Atlanta’s largest al fresco dining experience under the stars.

Tickets are now on sale.

Featuring 10 of Avalon’s most notable eateries, this culinary celebration will benefit Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to food service workers in crisis.

“Avalon has always been known for bringing top culinary talent to the suburbs, and Savor the Boulevard is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our diverse collection of chef-driven concepts. After last year’s success, we couldn’t wait to bring this immersive dining experience back to The Boulevard,” said Cayley Mullen, marketing and hospitality manager at Avalon. “Most importantly, we’re honored to once again partner with Giving Kitchen and look forward to providing additional life-changing support to the organization.”

With tables spanning more than 500 feet down Avalon Boulevard, the open-air dinner party invites guests to indulge in an exceptional street-level dining experience.

Savor the Boulevard will host 360 guests, with each restaurant activating its own themed table and serving a thoughtfully curated prix fixe four-course meal along with delightful beverage pairings.

Participating restaurants include Branch & Barrel, Colletta, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, Goldberg’s, Kona Grill, Oak Steakhouse, Rumi’s Kitchen, South City Kitchen Avalon, Ted’s Montana Grill and The El Felix.

The schedule:

  • Beginning at 6:30 p.m., restaurants will host a welcome reception for dinner guests to check-in and receive complimentary craft cocktails.
  • At 6:45 p.m., guests will take their seats at tables beautifully designed by local florists and designers. For the second year, the table décor will be featured as part of a Designer’s Showcase in which florists and designers’ partner with Avalon restaurants to compete for the best tablescape creation. During the event, guests will cast their vote for their favorite tablescape via social media and a winner will be crowned at the end of the evening.
  • At 7 p.m., a grand welcoming toast will kick off the decadent four-course dinner. Throughout the evening, a live DJ will provide music and entertainment.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Giving Kitchen, a nonprofit founded in 2013 that provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources.

Since its inception, the nonprofit has provided approximately $1.6 million in emergency assistance to over 1,600 food service workers in crisis. Last year, Avalon donated $5,000 to Giving Kitchen.

“We’re thrilled to once again have the opportunity to partner with Avalon and share Giving Kitchen’s mission with the generous North Fulton community. The funds raised by this wonderful event are incredibly helpful in alleviating the added financial stress for food service workers facing crises,” said Kristie Azaroff, development manager of Giving Kitchen.

Ticket prices range from $100-$130. Seating will be grouped by restaurant selection and assigned based on the time of ticket purchase. Interested attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets quickly as quantities are limited.
