A Rome man was arrested on a felony aggravated stalking charge Saturday for an incident that occurred on Nov. 16.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Joseph Patrick Hale, 48, made contact with a woman who has a protective order against him. He was ordered to stay 200 yards away from her, but broke the order when he made contact with her at a doctor's office on John Maddox Connector and got out of his car to approach her.

He remained in jail with no bond Sunday.
