A Hinesville man is charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and items prohibited for possession by inmates after he reportedly attempted to smuggle 34 ounces of tobacco into Floyd County Prison, reprorts stated.

According to Floyd County Jail report:

Benjamin Martin Roque, 29, conspired with several others to smuggle the tobacco into the prison by picking it up at the Rome Senior Center on Riverside Parkway back in late December 2018.

He was held on a $11,200 bond Thursday.
