A Rome man is charged convicted felon in possession of a firearm after a traffic stop in North Rome, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Chad Lee Jones, 35, was arrested at a location on North Avenue Saturday night after he was stopped by Floyd County Police for a traffic violation. Police recovered a firearm in the vehicle and Jones admitted to being a convicted felon.

He is also charged with a misdemeanor for driving without a license.
