The Society of Colonial Wars’ Atlanta chapter recently hosted its sixth annual luncheon at the Peachtree Golf Club in Brookhaven, where new member Wade Hooper received the Outstanding New Warrior Award for 2018-19 and speaker John Companiotte gave a presentation on early signature golf courses in Georgia. In his first full year with the organization, Hooper severed on the board of stewards, as captain of the color guard and chairman of the Surge to Burge.
