The Halloween season is almost here with events kicking off as early as this Sunday. Listed below are three events that you may consider doing throughout the month of October. 

1. Spooky Springs 

On Saturday, October 23, 2021 the City of Sandy Springs is hosting Spooky Springs. Each October, Sandy Springs hosts a free, safe, family-friendly event for young Trick-or-Treaters. 

The event is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Spooky Springs will be hosted at Abernathy Greenway Park. The address is 70 Abernathy Road, Sandy Springs.

Trick-or-treaters are invited to celebrate Halloween early at Spooky Springs Oct. 23, 2021.

The event is free and features the following:

  • Trick or Treat Candy Stations
  • Face Painting Station
  • Photo Op Stations
  • Food Trucks

  • Sandy Springs Christian Church, 301 Johnson Ferry Rd, Sandy Springs (limited parking)
  • Handicapped parking only on-site. (Residents in adjacent neighborhoods are strongly encouraged to walk to the event.)
Please Note:
  • The Abernathy Greenway parking lot will close at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23 for event setup.

2. Meet Tony Moran, "Michael Myers" from John Carpenter's "Halloween"

The original Michael Myers will be in attendance at the Plastic Empire shop on Oct. 3 at 12:00 p.m. 

On Sunday, Oct. 3 Plastic Empire Collections is inviting actor Tony Moran, known for playing the unmasked Michael Myers in the 1978 horror classic, Halloween.

The event will be from 12 to 3 p.m.

You can get a free Selfie with any purchase in the store and get an autograph for $40.

3. Six Flags Fright Fest
