Flax Dental awards scholarship
Flax Dental in Sandy Springs recently announced the recipient of this year’s Knowledge Matters Flax Dental Scholarship. Autumn Dipietro was awarded a $500 scholarship, which will support her studies at Georgia State University. Dipietro is pursuing a two-year degree to become a dental hygienist. Dipietro plans to graduate in May 2017 as a registered dental hygienist. This is the second year that Flax Dental has offered its Knowledge Matters scholarship for students pursuing a dental assistant program or dental hygiene program at a college or university within the United States. In addition, Flax Dental offers a $1,600 scholarship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Apex scholarship program. The program sends students to the academy’s annual Scientific Session, where they learn from the cosmetic dental world’s finest educators, while building their professional network.
