Fix Georgia Pets, a Buckhead-based nonprofit that works with recognized low-cost spay/neuter organizations to combat the significant pet overpopulation in the state, recently hosted a fundraiser at the Jimmy Choo boutique in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta and gear up for its annual gala. Store Manager Benjamin Wilcox gave a percentage of sales to the charity, and guests who made purchases received a party favor, a Jimmy Choo candle personalized by a calligrapher. Fix Georgia Pets’ gala, set for Oct. 24 at the home of Ginny and Guy Millner in Buckhead and themed “Hooray for Hollywood,” will feature vintage cocktails, old-school fare and legendary Hollywood insider Rex Reed. Tickets are $350. For information about the gala or to purchase tickets, visit www.fixgeorgiapets.org.
