East Point residents will soon get the opportunity to view and comment on the 2020 city budget during open house meetings.

East Point City Manager Frederick Gardiner will host his annual Budget Open House Meetings to share with East Point residents the proposed budget for FY20. Residents will also have the opportunity to ask questions and give their feedback on the budget during that time.

Meetings are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. on May 2 at East Point First Mallalieu Church at 2651 N. Church Street; May 7 and St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church at 2670 Hogan Street; and May 9 at Fire Station No. 3 at 3800 N. Commerce Drive. An additional morning meeting, from 10 to 11 a.m. will take place on May 11 at the Jefferson Park Recreation Center.
