Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, a Michigan-based business, has opened their first franchise in Georgia at Town Brookhaven.

The 1,800-square-foot café offers personal and group seating, local artwork, and a menu of premium coffees and teas from around the world. Food offerings include pastries, sandwiches, salads, and more.

“The fact that Sweetwaters is very community-oriented and focused on using only real ingredients drew me to them,” said Seema Rao, owner of Sweetwaters’ Atlanta location. “We are extremely focused on the community and want to provide jobs in a positive work environment.”

The newly opened business, located at 705 Town Boulevard, Suite 510, recently celebrated a grand opening in February with free samples and a partnership fundraiser with Hands on Atlanta, an organization that connects community members to nonprofits and schools in need.

“Sweetwaters began with a passion for family and community. Our founders wanted a place where they could bring their children and where everyone could meet and enjoy a good drink with friends. We’re thrilled to bring this same inviting atmosphere and delicious menu to Atlanta,” said Rao.

Popular, signature coffee drinks at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea include the Crème Caramel, a caramel coated vanilla latte topped with whipped cream and the Dragon Eye, a blend of House coffee and sweetened condensed milk.

Signature teas like ginger raspberry can be bought hot or cold and handcrafted tea drinks, like the Thai Iced Tea with a blend of black tea, vanilla, and cinnamon poured over ice and topped with half and half, are also offered.
