A number of runoff elections will happen tomorrow.

Incumbent Sharon Barnes-Sutton received 43.42 percent of votes for the district 4 commissioner seat and will go up against Steve Bradshaw, who inched ahead with 48.40 percent.

Irvin Johnson and Susannah Scott will face off again for DeKalb Tax Commissioner with the candidates getting 39.51 percent and 33.79 percent respectively. Former county commissioner Stan Watson’s 26.70 percent total was not enough to move him forward in the race.

Former DeKalb County CEO Vernon Jones was unable to achieve a true majority in the four-way democratic race for the District 91 House of Representatives seat. He will face Rhonda Taylor in the run-off.

Alan Cole and Meagan Hanson will also continue the fight for the seat in House District 80.

Check back with Neighbor Newspapers tomorrow for election results.
