The DeKalb County School District has updated its Back-To-School 2018 webpage for simple, streamlined accessibility.

All students, staff members, and guardians can now visit for information involving the 2018-2019 school year. The page offers a “one-stop shop” for stakeholders on the upcoming year, including bus routes, the district’s school calendar, immunization information, lunch menus, open house dates, school supply lists, registration information and more.

The 2018-2019 school year begins August 6, 2018.

The Back-To-School 2018 webpage also describes aspects of the new year to look forward to including STEM-certification at 26 district schools, a 2.5 percent pay increase for employees, the new Early Learning Center at Terry Mill, and elevations in school safety, according to officials.

“Together, we will use these as springboards to be greater and stronger in our service to our students,” said Superintendent R. Stephen Green. “Thank you for your continued support as we inspire, achieve, and excel on behalf of every student in every classroom in every school in the district.”
