The Cathedral of St. Philip in Buckhead recently hosted its 15th annual Camp Hollywood, a day camp run by FOCUS (Families Of Children Under Stress) + Fragile Kids. FOCUS + Fragile Kids is a DeKalb County-based nonprofit that helps children who are medically fragile or have serious developmental and/or physical disabilities. The weeklong camp included art, music, science, cooking and recreation based on the themes of popular children’s movies, and also takes place in other cities around metro Atlanta. The church started hosting the camp after FOCUS was the beneficiary of the 2004 Cathedral Antiques Show, before it merged with Fragile Kids in 2017. Above: Campers made a hanging letter sign thanking the church for hosting the camp. The children’s names were not released to protect their privacy.
