Chicken Salad Chick will open a new location in east Cobb on June 25 with a ribbon-cutting at 9:30 a.m.

The restaurant will open in Sandy Plains Centre at 2960 Shallowford Road. Following the ribbon cutting, the restaurant will officially open at 10 a.m.

Guests of the new location will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy their meals outdoors on a spacious shaded patio. This will be the largest covered veranda at a Chicken Salad Chick to date.

To support the local community, the Sandy Plains restaurant will be collecting donations during their Friends & Family events June 21-22 to benefit MUST Ministries’ summer lunch program. Registration for the event is available at Facebook.com/ChickenSaladChickSandyPlains.

♦ Every week until the grand opening, guests can enter to win a year of free chicken salad by liking the restaurant’s Facebook page.

♦ June 25, the first guest of the new location will receive one free large Quick Chick every week for a year. The first 99 guests after the first visitor will receive one free large Quick Chick every month for a year. All other guests on opening day will also have the opportunity to enter to win a raffle for free chicken salad for an entire year.

♦ June 26, the first 50 guests at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. who purchase the Chick Special will receive a membership to the Free Scoop of the Month Club, which includes one free scoop of chicken salad per month for an entire year.

♦ June 27, the first 50 guests at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. who purchase the Chick Trio will receive a free stainless steel 32 oz. Chicken Salad Chick tumbler.

♦ June 28, any guest who purchases a Chick Trio will receive a free 32 oz chick cup with their order.

June 29, the first 100 guests to purchase two Quick Chicks To-Go will receive a free Chicken Salad Chick cooler.
