You don’t need a horse and saddle to get roped into one of the hottest style trends of the fall: Western chic. This trend is all about embracing leather, color, cowhide, boots, bandanas and more. Here are some of our favorite on-trend pieces found in stores right here in Cobb County.

1. This blouse — covered in cacti, feathers, antlers and skulls - is perfect for those who want to dip their feet into the Western trend without going full boot. $31.95, made by Lelis, found at Horsetown

2. Turquoise is everywhere out West and goes with virtually any color. It’s like the denim of jewelry. Don’t be afraid to make a statement with it, like you would with this necklace and earring combination (necklace above with blouse). $39.95, made by Tipi, found at Horsetown

3. Denim with patterned details are all the rage this fall, and this pair of authentic Ariat blue jeans with Aztec patterns imprinted along the outside of the pant line give a great cowgirl look, while the skinny leg provides style to those who do not like boot cut or baggier styles. Tuck the bottoms under a pair of boots or booties or pair the jeans with a great pair of heels. $58.95, made by Ariat REAL Denim Jeans, found at Horsetown

4. Bandanas can be worn in so many different ways, but our favorite ways to wear them are rolled up and tied across the head as a headband, loosely tied to the side as a scarf or wrapped around the wrist and tied in a bow as a bracelet. $8 each, made by Tickled Pink, found at Little Red Bird Gifts

5. This gorgeous, deep green, 100 percent leather jacket is dripping in style and elegance. Adorned with fringe, black leather accents, intricate black embroidery and silver studs, this jacket pairs great with both a black dress and blue jeans. $508.95, made by Double D Ranch, found at Horsetown

6. Cowboy boots can make a statement without being too flashy. These charcoal cowgirl boots are accented with nickel studs, interesting distressed leather and the perfect-sized heel while also going great with blacks, browns and virtually any other color. A tip from the real cowgirls: don’t worry about matching the color of your boots to the rest of your outfit. The old fashion rule of not mixing browns and blacks does not apply here. $149, made by Durango, found at Horsetown

7. Every cowboy and cowgirl needs a belt buckle, and this Western print belt buckle could go either way. $25, made by Nacona, found at Horsetown

8. This chic overnight bag is made of 100 percent leather and cowhide and would surely make a stylish statement on your next trip. $517, made by Canoe, found at Little Red Bird Gifts

9. Goodbye, boring black! The green face of this Timex Weekender watch pairs perfectly with the camel handmade leather strap. $125, Go Forth Goods

10. Don’t be afraid to bring a little color into the mix. These dark teal feathers dipped in gold paint go great with neutrals, and the glass beads and chains add some sparkle to the earrings. $18, found at Tiny Bubbles Tea Bar and Gift Shop

11. This faux suede romper is super-soft to the touch and lends a bit of elegance to the Western trend. Wear it with lots of accessories and a fringe or denim jacket along with heeled booties and you’ll be right on trend without ever stepping foot in a stable. $98, made by JACK, found at Fab’rik

Horns come in all shapes, weights, materials and sizes, but we really liked the light weight of this wood horn, wrapped in gold wire and paired with a matte gold chain. $30, made by Canvas, found at Tiny Bubbles Tea Bar and Gift Shop

12. Need a stylish place to store your keys, chargers and other household nicknacks? This handmade leather valet with a signature Go Forth Goods imprint brings tasteful style to any bedside table, foyer table or kitchen counter. $65, Go Forth Goods
