Coach Brian Bohannon and the KSU Owls will open the season at home against Point on Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.

Kennesaw State kickoff times have been announced for the upcoming season.

The two-time defending Big South champions, which went 11-2 last season, will look to make it three in a row and a third straight trip to the FCS playoffs.

The 2019 season begins on August 31 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium against Point. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.

The Owls then play a trio of away games that will include a noon kickoff at Kent State on Sept. 7, a game the following against Alabama State (time to be determined), and a 3 p.m. start against Missouri State on Sept. 21.

Kennesaw State comes home for the first showdown against Cherokee County rival Reinhardt on Sept. 28, which will be at 6 p.m.

The Owls will open their the Big South schedule with their homecoming game against Charleston Southern on Oct. 12, at 3 p.m.

Kennesaw State will return to the road to play Presbyterian on Oct. 19 (TBA), before coming home for two key conference games.

New Big South Conference foe North Alabama, and Monmouth, will both travel to Kennesaw. The Owls will face North Alabama Oct. 26 at 3 p.m., and then face Monmouth on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m.

Kennesaw State completes its road schedule with two games. The Owls will play make their first trip to Campbell to face the Camels on Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. Campbell makes its transition to scholarship football this season and joins the Big South.

The Camels had already been members of the conference in the other sports, but they had played football as a member of the Pioneer League.

The Owls will travel to another new Big South member, Hampton, on Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. The Pirates will play their first conference schedule this season after joining the Big South in other sports in 2018.

The Owls then return home for their final regular season game to face Gardner-Webb for Senior Day on Nov. 23 at 2 p.m.

The opening round of the FCS playoffs will begin on Nov. 30. The Owls have hosted home playoff games each of the last two seasons.
