Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics, which has offices in Cobb County, has promoted Miranda Madar to chief marketing officer.

Madar will oversee marketing strategy and brand development including advertising, sponsorships and digital marketing initiatives. She launched the company’s successful Reach for More brand platform and oversaw the award-winning re-design of the Resurgens website. Stand-out marketing campaigns under her leadership include the Get Moving Again campaign and the No More Excuses campaign that will launch next week.

“Miranda’s vision and marketing expertise have helped Resurgens Orthopaedics develop and re-inforce a brand identity that resonates with the community and in turn helps us grow our practice,” said Dr. Douglas Lundy, Resurgens Orthopaedics co-president. “We are thrilled to recognize her achievements as well as the expansive scope of her position with this well-deserved promotion.”

Madar joined Resurgens Orthopaedics in 2014 as director of marketing. Prior to that she was the global communications manager at The Coca-Cola Company and previously held agency-side roles, including years spent at Ogilvy & Mather, Y&R, McCann-Erickson, AOL Media Networks and Moxie Interactive.

She is a graduate of Boston University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Resurgens Charitable Foundation and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
