Fifteen physicians from Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics, which has offices in Cobb County, were named Top Doctors in their field for 2019 by Castle Connolly healthcare research company.

Castle Connelly’s physician-led team of researchers select the Top Doctors annually through a process that starts with peer nominations followed by a rigorous screening process that includes an evaluation of educational and professional experience.

The Top Doctors list includes:

♦ Dr. Robert A. Kelly, knee, shoulder and sports medicine specialty, working out of the Kennesaw and Woodstock offices.

♦ Dr. Scott A. Kelly, spine, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialty, working out of the Griffin and Morrow ♦ offices.

♦ Dr. Douglas W. Lundy, Resurgens Orthopaedics co-president and trauma specialty, working out of the Marietta office.

♦ Dr. Milan Patel, elbow and hand specialty, working out of the Lawrenceville office.

♦ Dr. Yvonne E. Satterwhite, elbow, knee, shoulder and sports medicine specialty, working out the John’s Creek office.

♦ Dr. Gary W. Stewart, foot and ankle, knee and sports medicine specialty, working out of the Fayetteville, Griffin, McDonough and Morrow offices.

♦ Dr. Steven B. Wertheim, elbow, knee, shoulder and sports medicine specialty, working out of the St. Joseph’s and Windy Hill offices.
