John Loud, president of Kennesaw-based LOUD Security Systems, recently received the prestigious recognition of the William N. Moody Award at the

2022 Electronic Security EXPO Public Safety and Networking Luncheon in Fort Worth, Texas.

Created in 2004 by the Security Industry Alarm Coalition, the award is given annually to an individual who demonstrates a passion for advancing positive alarm management and best industry practices.

“John took a leadership role as Vice President of the Electronic Security Association and president of LOUD Security to encourage Georgia Gov. Brian P. Kemp to sign and the Georgia legislature to pass a a bill that bans counties and municipalities from fining alarm companies for false alarms generated by a customer,” said Stan Martin, SIAC Executive Director. “This groundbreaking legislation came in response to the decision by the city of Sandy Springs to fine alarm companies for false alarms.”
