The Janice Overbeck Real Estate Team’s nonprofit organization, JO Gives Inc., hosted a low cost pet vaccination clinic on Oct. 29.

All of the services and supplies for the clinic were donated by Town & Country Veterinary Clinic and 100 percent of the fees collected were donated to the Homeless Pets Foundation.

“We are so pleased to be partnering with Dr. Good to bring to the community the opportunity to meet their pets needs at about 50 percent of the retail cost,” said Janice Overbeck. “We not only offered vaccines, but also lab testing and supplies such as flea and tick medicine and heartworm prevention. In addition, for each pet seen, we have donated a $50 free exam credit on behalf of our business. Together, we raised $2,986.00 in just two hours for the Homeless Pets Foundation. Knowing that we can save a dog with every $50 collected means that we were able to do a lot of good in a short amount of time.”

The next clinic will be held Dec. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. Recurring clinics will be held monthly at the Janice Overbeck Real Estate Team office, 2249 Roswell Road in Marietta.

JO Gives Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
