Cobb-based Delta Community Credit Union named Rick Daugherty as assistant vice president of Residential Lending, reporting to vice president of Residential Lending Kathy Weber.

“We’re pleased to welcome Rick to our established team of professionals,” said Weber. “Not only does he have an exceptionally strong background in many areas of financial services, including loan servicing and origination. He also has a proven track record for leadership of large teams, which will further strengthen Delta Community’s ability to provide our members with excellent value on products and services tailored to meet their unique home loan needs.”

Daugherty, who most recently served as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, has more than 20 years of experience with national lenders in servicing and origination. He holds a bachelor of science in Business from Kansas State University and an MBA from Kennesaw State University.

“I’m excited to transition to Delta Community, which shares my passion for helping consumers with mortgage loan products they need and want,” said Daugherty. “I look forward to helping our members achieve home ownership on their terms, with customized products and services that best fit their needs.”

Daugherty’s office will be located in the Delta Community Credit Union Peachtree City (Wisdom Road) branch, at 315 Highway 74 North in Peachtree City.
