From the Thursday, March 20, 1919, edition of The Cobb County Times. Pictured is a photograph of Naomi V. Campbell, who was found guilty on two charges of cruelty to the children at the Undenominational Orphans’ Home at Collins Switch. Campbell was sentenced to serve two years on the State Prison Farm at Milledgeville. There were five other indictments against Campbell on similar charges. The picture was taken shortly after she was placed in jail the month before.
