Mr. O.C. Ray, Jr., 91 of Smyrna formerly of Birmingham, Alabama died on Wednesday, the 13th of November, 2013. O.C. was a wonderful Christian man who loved Jesus, his Lord and Savior and was a great father and husband. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was stationed in the Pacific Theatre at Pearl Harbor. O.C. loved the University of Alabama and was a faithful fan of Crimson Tide football. O.C. also loved his sons black Lab, Mr. Shadow. Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Frances Ray and son Michael Ray of Smyrna. Graveside services will be held Saturday the 16th of November at two o’clock C.S.T. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
