Mrs. Erica Katharina Pauli, age 79, of Atlanta, passed away Monday, November 11. Mrs. Pauli was born in Munich, Germany, and resided there until the mid 1950’s when she immigrated to New York, New York, at age 24. There she met her husband, Frank. They moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1971 with their young family. She worked primarily in the hotel industry and was especially proud of her work at the Hotel Captain Cook, a well-established premiere hotel in Anchorage. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was very devoted to her family. A proud member of the NRA, a Roman Catholic, and loved the Atlanta Braves. Erica is survived by her husband; Frank G. Pauli of Middleburgh, New York, sons Stephan and Matthew of Anchorage and daughter Michele, “Missy,” of Smyrna, Daughters-in-Law Cheryl and Rebecca of Anchorage, Son-in-Law Vikram Krishnamurthy of Smyrna, four grandchildren: Isabella and Oliver of Smyrna and Zachary and Noah Johnson of Anchorage, and sister Renate Roslmair of Unterhaching, Germany. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
