Edna J. Jenkins, 82, of Kennesaw died Saturday, November 9, 2013. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton, VA. with Greg Turner and Rev. Paula Jones officiating.  Interment will be in Little Georgetown Cemetery in Broad Run, VA. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Bealteton, VA. to the late Walter and Anna Neese. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.  Mrs. Jenkins moved to Kennesaw in 2004.  She worked for Broad Run Post Office and later worked for the Department of Defense at Warrenton Training Center as well as Washington, DC.  She was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church in VA.  She was a devoted wife to Everett A. Jenkins who left this life in 1979, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a devout Christian. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Turner and her husband, Greg; two sons, Lawrence (Larry) Jenkins, Richard Jenkins and his wife, Winona; sister, Virginia Moore; twelve grandchildren, Andy Jenkins, Angela Turner, April O’keefe, Scott Jenkins, John Turner, Charles Ammons, Michelle Garcia, Maura Ammons, Angela Fachini, Michael Ammons, Gina Vichemirat, Susan Langston; twenty great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Moser Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association: P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA will be making the arrangements. 770-428-1511.
