Mrs. Nellie Wylene Duncan England, 88, went to be with the Lord on October 31 2013 in Dixon, KY at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Larry Melton. Nellie was born on May 23, 1925 and was the youngest of 9 children to the late William E and Ara Annie Duncan of Kennesaw. She was married to the late Vaughn Richard England, Sr. for 60 years and had 3 children: the late V. Richard England, Jr., wife Teresa of Florida, Faye England Melton, husband, Larry of Kentucky and Nancy England Hardman, fiance’, Noel Dillard of Georgia. Nellie was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church for more than 70 years where she was a devoted member teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir. She will be remembered by her family for the quilts she made for each of them. Nellie has 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren: Angela Austin and husband Greg of Cartersville, children: Levi, McKenzie, and Bill; Sharon Brown and husband Mike of Dallas, children: Jakob and Lauren; V. Richard England III (Richie) and wife Sun of Marietta, daughter Emily; Tim England and wife Donna of Powder Springs, children Hannah and Hailee; Heather Hardman of Atlanta; and Donnie Hardman of Acworth; Brother, Charlie Duncan and wife Mary of Marietta, GA; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Visitation will be at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw from 5-8 on Saturday and at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church from 1pm until the service at 2pm on Sunday. The Service will be officiated by Bobby Therrel and John Darnell. Her Grandsons, and Great-grandsons will serve as pall bearers. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Acworth, or The Calvary’s Baptist Children’s Home.
