Patricia Ellen Cagle, age 57, died in her home in Canton, Georgia surrounded by her loving family, Monday, September 9th, 2013 shortly after a cancer diagnosis given July 11, 2013. Born on January, 23, 1956 in Cartersville, Georgia to parents Robert Samuel Harrison and Bettie Jane Harrison. She graduated Wheeler High School in 1973 and immediately married the love of her life, Kenneth Cagle. They remained in Georgia and made their home in Cherokee County to raise their children. Throughout much of her life Patty managed the family company from home while keeping busy with their three kids. In 1998 she made the decision to start a new career with Cobb County Board of Education, Transportation. Patty found fulfillment in both her family and career and it was through these outlets that she was able to touch many lives. Survivors include her husband and partner of 40 years, Kenneth Cagle, Sisters; Shirley Anderson and Becky Yancey of Woodstock, GA. Children; Bettie Cagle, Suzanne Morgan and Harrison Cagle. Grandchildren; Abby Morgan, Sammy Morgan, Lily Morgan, Parker Cagle and Elias Cagle. An evening of celebration and remembrance will be held Saturday, September 28th 3:33-10:00 pm at Blackberry Creek Ranch, 1667 Thomas Road, Canton, GA 30115. We will be enjoying the beautiful scenery and honoring Patty’s life with a party, a time of fellowship, food, live music and fun. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be given in Patty’s name to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Aflac Cancer Center. Please follow this link to donate: pattycagle.
