Dale Powell Benedict, age 58, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 2pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Tony Samples officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Benedict lived most of her life in Powder Springs. She graduated from McEachern High School and worked as a bank teller and a bookkeeper until her retirement. Survivors include sons, Corey Hamby and wife Datha of Dallas, GA and Duane Hamby of Douglasville; brother, Robert Davis of TN; sister, Dawn Wortham of Lake Alfred, FL and granddaughters, Haley and Jordan Hamby.
