On July 10, Jennifer Yearty and Jimmy Martin married in the chapel at First Baptist of Marietta. The intimate ceremony was attended by close family, followed by a lunch at 103 West in Buckhead. The bride's parents, Raymond and Pennie Yearty, hosted the lunch.

Friends wanting to share in the joy and celebration hosted a fabulous dinner and dance party on July 31 at the home of the groom's parents, Jim and Hannah Martin. More than 100 guests were treated to a Southern affair complete with a signature drink, pork tenderloin, shrimp, summer salads, mashed potato bar and an armadillo red velvet cake such as that in the movie, "Steel Magnolias." The band, Modern Logic, provided live music for the evening in a beautifully decorated setting. Friends traveled from Texas, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Washington, D.C.

Claire and Brendan Crowley, Allison Coley, Alycia and Will Dinkins, Kristi and Aaron Gage, Samantha Phillips, Bobby Johnson, Bonny McKinnon, Kristie Mendoza, Katie and Wes Mobley, Hannah Price, Felicia and Todd Rakestraw, Staci and Andy Thompson, Robyn and Casey Washburn and Whitney Wells hosted the fete.

Among the well-wishers were the groom's grandmother, Becky Balkcom and the bride's grandmother, Fran Foster along with Cathy and Dan Cochran, Audrey Benson, Jessica and Bragg Vaughn, Josh and Jamie Watson, Jeremy Haines, Lindsey Martin, Mike Carrigan, Courtney Martin, Shannon Gorman, Kelly Huffman, Jimmy and Kate Berry, Jamie Berry, John and Janie Maddox, Marty and Abbie Leddy, Lucy and Brandon Woodman, Mark and Marlo Meyerhofer, Tommy and Karen Campbell, Laura and Lloyd Fiedler, Nelson and Lesley Foster, Tommy and Jennifer Foster and Brian and Susan Foster.
