Primary runoff day is here. For Republicans, there are four statewide runoff races, as well as runoffs for the GOP nominee for the U.S. House seat in Georgia’s 13th district, which includes portions of south Cobb, and for the northeast Cobb seat on the county commission.

Democrats have only one runoff, in the race to be that party’s nominee for Secretary of State.

Winners will go on to the Nov. 2 general election ballot.

Runoff voters who also voted in the primary must choose the same party ballot they did on July 20. Those who did not vote in the primary may choose either party’s ballot today.

Polls across the county are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You’ll need to show a government- or tribal-issued photo ID.

Search for your polling place online at www.sos.georgia.gov/MVP/Login.aspx or call Cobb Elections at (770)528-2581.
