Don't miss "Daisy Fay and the Miracle Man," a new comedy by Ed Howard, based on the novel by Fannie Flagg. Starring award-winning actress Veronika Duerr, the play is set in the summer of 1958 in Hattiesburg, Miss. Motherless Daisy escapes her humble beginnings and alcoholic, bartending father through community theatre with the help of benevolent costume designer Mr. Cecil and the lovelorn crop duster Jimmy Snow. Fun escalates when the two send snaggle-toothed, four-eyed Daisy Fay off to the Miss Mississippi Beauty Pageant in Tupelo.

The show runs July 22-25 and July 29-Aug. 1, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 3 p.m. at Theatre in the Square's Alley Stage, located at 11 Whitlock Ave.. Tickets are $20. Visit www.theatreinthesquare.com or call (770)422-8369 for more information.
