Pat Wegener, a Piedmont Hills resident who chairs the Bells Ferry Civic Association, said, "I believe Stephen Moon's record of accomplishment as a homeowner advocate, and his profession as an architect makes him uniquely qualified to be our next District 3 commissioner. We need a commissioner that listens, identifies and is responsive to homeowner ideas, concerns and visions for Cobb County. Recently, he personally came out and looked at the storm water problems we have in my neighborhood. In addition, the fact that he has been an active volunteer in a number of homeowners groups shows his dedication to our community."

all about fund raising to advance political careers and not taking care of business
and when you lie to voters to get them to approve a SPLOST they are well within their right to demand specific performance-
or maybe you think that HOA in this county don't have rights- just the big donors. . . .
You guys won- 2/3rds of Cobb citizens lost last week
Why of course, how silly of me, MR/Ms "anonymous".
Sidewalks just have to be the most pressing issue of the day. County budgets, being business friendly to attract quality commercial enterprises that will shoulder more of the tax burden, and other insignificant objectives simply pale in comparison to the importance of sidewalks.
(The HOA crowd once again proves themselves incapable of thinking of anything other than their own little fiefdoms).
now THAT is dysfunctional pettiness.
and who does uh oh think lives in the developments that they build, or shops at the retail establishments
uh oh and his pal are dumb and dumber
AMEN and AMEN!!!
Stephen Moon is the only candidate of the three who was involved in his community BEFORE the election canpaign began. He is also the only candidate who is highly qualified -- based upon his professional experience -- in budgeting, planning and leading.
Neither Earl Stine nor JoAnn Birrell were involved with homeowners groups outside of their candidacy or jobs; and neither have touted any experience in running businesses.

What the county needs is experienced business managers, not politicians inclined to slobber over every homeowner that comes whining to them about about this or that insignificant personal gripe.
