Former Dodgen Middle School principal Jim Snell, who is challenging technology consultant and Sope Creek Elementary School dad Scott Sweeney in the Republican primary for a chance to represent Post 6 on the Cobb school board, reports that he is honored to be endorsed by Roger Hines, a former state representative and former Cobb County Teacher of the Year. Until recently, Hines was a candidate for State School Superintendent.
Snell has also announced his interactive website. In addition to offering campaign priority information, the site includes opportunities for constituents from Post 6 to communicate their priorities directly to the candidate.
Snell said he wants to develop a constituent database in order to gather input regarding issues of interest to residents of Post 6.
The website, www.jsnellpost6.com is maintained exclusively by Snell.

The budget input survey completed by over 23,000 Cobb County residents offered this as one of their top suggestions. Probably not going to make me popular as a fellow running for political office. Oh well. I feel in my heart it is the right thing..."
