The website "Cobb County: Save our Teachers" has taken issue with the 14 members of the Cobb County Association of Educators who make up the CCAE's political action committee and their decision to endorse incumbent Holli Cash of Smyrna for another term of the Cobb Board of Education.

Cash is being challenged in the Democratic Primary by Patrick Stafford. The winner will face Republican Tim Stultz in the General Election.

"Wrong move, CCAE," writes the blogger, who identifies herself as a Cobb resident and McEachern High School Class of 2003 graduate.

"We need new blood at the top," the blogger writes.

The McEachern blogger calls on residents to investigate the candidates for school board.

"Corruption cannot and should not be tolerated. Self-serving actions are illogical and wrong," the blogger writes.

"Yet, the Cobb County School Board has lost its grip. They think that they can do anything they want, no consequences, no one to hold them accountable. These people are not royalty. They are not political appointees. They are elected. They answer directly to every resident of this county. It's about time they understood that."

Sticker support: Cobb school board members each have assigned parking spaces at the central office, with signs in the front of the spaces with their names listed. On Thursday, the car parked in board member David Banks' spot sported a bumper sticker stating "Oxendine: The fair tax governor." Banks was inside sitting in on a tribunal hearing.
