Willie C. White, 93, of Acworth died Sunday, June 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Acworth, Mr. White served his country in the US Navy during WW II. He retired as a security guard with Tumpane. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Irene White of Acworth; sisters, Florine White McCoy of Acworth, Virginia White Wills of Kennesaw, and Thelma White Clark of Marietta; several nieces and nephews.
