Doris S. Heithold, age 68, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, June 5. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9 in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a caring mother and grandmother who always put others' needs before her own. Surviving are sons, Daniel Lee (Carol) Heithold of Chickamauga, Richard Allen (Leah) Heithold of Denver, NC; brother, Lee Sparks of California; grandchildren, Taylor Allen Heithold, Jordan Ashley Heithold, Jessie Long, Clay Long. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday June 8 at the funeral home.
