Chamber to award business June 7

MARIETTA - Cobb Chamber of Commerce and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's 2010 Small Business of the Year award will be presented to the county's top small business at the Chamber's First Monday Breakfast on June 7. Cobb's Top 25 Small Businesses of 2010 also will be honored at the event at the Atlanta Mariott Northwest. The awards will be presented at 7:30 a.m.

The Small Business of the Year was chosen from the top 25, which were nominated earlier this year, and then selected by an independent panel of judges. Candidates were evaluated based on the criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

This year's Top 25 are Beaumont Products, Inc., Blue Sky Exhibits, LLC; BlueWave Computing LLC; Casteel Heating and Cooling, Inc.; CCA and B, LLC; Deluxe Athletics; EPIC Response, LLC; Ezekiel IPM; Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP; Fulfillment Strategies International, Inc.; Global Technology Connection, Inc.; HighGrove Partners LLC; HLB Gross Collins, P.C.; The Investigative Accounting Group, LLC; LOUD Security Systems, Inc.; MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service; Mopdog Creative + Strategy; Puckett EMS; R. F. Knox Company, Inc.; The Service Fort, LLC; Signature HealthCARE of Marietta; Solar Velocity, LLC; Sundial Plumbing Services; Unique Cleaning Service, Inc.; and Valuation Management Group.

Cost to attend for Cobb Chamber members is $20 online and $35 at the door. General admission is $50. Registration can be done by visiting www.cobbchamber.org. Online registration and refunds close June 3 at noon.
