Four stunning gardens were opened on May 15 for 2010 Garden Tour presented by the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County. Master Gardener homeowners were on hand for the self-guided tour to share their ideas and solutions to gardening challenges of the Southern landscape. A plant sale took place, where hundreds of plants grown by Master Gardeners were offered for purchase.

All classes from the historic F.T. Wills High School in Smyrna are invited to a reunion weekend July 9 -10. Three major events include a casual reception for graduates only on July 9 at the newly constructed American Legion in Smyrna starting at 7 p.m. The second event is a free open house at Wills on July 10 from 1-4 p.m. The final reunion event takes place at the downtown Smyrna Concert Center starting at 6:30 p.m., where the oldies group, The Mustangs, will be playing.
