Florence Marie Waits, 86, of Acworth, died Monday, May 24, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Richie Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. A native of Acworth, Mrs. Waits was retired from Burger Chief and was a member of First Baptist Church of Acworth. She is survived by her sons, Thomas L. Waits of Silver Springs, FL, Ray Waits, Jr. of Acworth, Ronnie Waits of Acworth and Bobby Waits of White; daughter, Linda Shelton of Cartersville; brother, Tommy Edward Gravley of Joplin, MO; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
