DEAR EDITOR:

Thank you, Cobb County Sheriff Neil Warren, for upholding the rule of law and proactively dealing with the illegal immigration problem. Far too many community leaders do not have the backbone to do their duty - but you do.

You are the man.

Kennesaw State University should be boycotted until the administrators who have promoted illegal immigration are fired and run out of town.

When there are no more drunk drivers on the road, no more meth labs, no more drug dealers, no more burglaries or robberies, no more wives and kids getting abused, then Sheriff Warren can get around to the issue of arresting young people who are trying to get an education. Til then, stick to the people who are the real criminals and stop shooting fish in a barrel.

For a public/private college to allow any illegal to enroll is equal to any companies that hires an illegal.

The Federal Law allows any person aiding and abetting an illegal to be charged and arrested.

So how about the Sheriff getting the Federal Attorney to issue a warrant for Papp. Probably will not happen because then they would have to go after every landscaping and masonary company in metro Atlanta.

KSU Alum-it has already gone thru the court system and no public elementary, middle, & high school can deny a child to enroll at their area school, regardless of citizenship and citizenship cannot be checked. HOWEVER, a public college is a different thing. They do NOT have to admit everyone. Public colleges set their own rules, which means the GA Board of Regents needs to put it into writing the policy requiring documentation to verify citizenship and residency. What I fault Dr. Papp and his cronies at KSU for doing is bending over backwards and going to extremes to accomodate Colotl. I seriously, seriously doubt that my U.S. born, GA resident children would get the same kind of accomodations had they been arrested for traffic violations on campus. What is it that Colotl has over Dr. Papp and his cronies?

Dr. Papp and the KSU staff have my full support. Together they have turned KSU into a first class educational institution. If you want to blame someone for this you should blame the high school this student graduated from. KSU is only required to verify the residency of a student. Graduating from a Georgia High School is considered verification of residency.

I kind of look at Olens as I did Carter when a friend from Boston asked me during the Carter campaign if I planned to vote from him since was from Georgia. My answer "I can't stand him, but then everyone should have to suffer his one sided attitude - not just the people of Georgia. Kind of feel the same way about Olens as AG - maybe the whole state needs to see what a true liberal, only interested in getting elected, politician looks like

We love our Sheriff, not so much Cobb leaders who did not notice the illegals working on the court house one block from their offices.

Sam Olens met with the Hispanic Cobb group and I attended one meeting where people complained about Sheriff Warren and 287(g) as bad for their businesses which depend on illegals. He never advised them that if they needed illegals to stay in business then they are in the wrong business, nor did he defend our Sheriff. BTW, he's running for attorney general. I guess he hasn't done enough damage to Cobb.

We the taxpaying citizens of Cobb should be grateful to have a man of Sheriff Warren's integrity as our law enforcer! If he were sitting idly by he would then also be getting flack. So, Sheriff Warren, we salute you and all the hard work that you have put in trying to keep our streets free of lawbreaking freeloaders!THANKS
