Isn't it wonderful that Kathryn Dobies, with her article in Friday's MDJ, could make the public aware of how Cobb County's illustrious school superintendent, supported by such a far-thinking board of education, would go to such lengths to preserve the well being and morale of our teachers, to dispel their expectation of governance by fear, deception and intimidation, to lessen their workload to avoid burn-out and simultaneously enhance the quality of education meted out to our children?
It's difficult to imagine that such super-intelligent executives would work so hard, spending hours and hours of their own time to achieve the impossible end results outlined above, while making the difficult decisions required to overcome a huge hole in the new budget and still find a way to keep the big money flowing into the right hands.
Should "we the people" now look forward to the award of another significant secret raise, by the free-thinking school board, to honor such a brilliant man for his dedication to his loyal cheering staff. Perhaps they could make that award during an all-expense-paid three-day educational outing at a luxury hotel in the mountains, with spouses invited of course.
This all makes me feel so exuberant that I can hardly wait for an opportunity to sell my home and move to another county or state. Do any of those involved know anyone out there who might be willing to make us an acceptable offer for our beautiful home?

Oakwood is in her area!
Thank about it! That is the type of management and board CCSD is all about! I'm so glad I don't work in that environment - just sad my kids go to that school and I cannot afford private right now!
I feel like throwing a nerf ball at Sanderson's head and saying, "Hey you. Yeah, you and the rest of your brainless, spineless followers. Remember me, I'm Joe Taxpayer and you actually do work for me." They ALL work for us, but they aren't keeping in mind what we want at all.
Oakwood High School is an excellent example of this. It should be pretty clear by now that the public does not want it closed, and yet they stubbornly have kept by their ridiculous decision to close it. What morons.
