Susan (Sue) Marie Gowen Hendricks, 58, of Woodstock died Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Marietta with Rev. Mac Riley officiating. Ms. Hendricks was born in Flint, Michigan and lived in Cobb County for the past 28 years. She was employed at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for the past 20 years attending college during this time while she earned her degree in nursing. She has been a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church for the past 28 years. Sue loved to read, visit and spoil her grandchildren and attend church and plays. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. She was selfless and always ready to help a friend in need. She enjoyed writing and making cards for friends and family. Sue will be dearly missed. Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Mosley and husband, Gordon of Acworth, GA; one son, Tim Hendricks and wife, Amanda of Richmond Hill, GA; her mother, Geraldine Zarza of Marietta, GA; one brother, Larry Gowen; grandchildren, Cole and Jack Hendricks; nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Sadie. Predeceased by her father, Urban Gowen and stepfather, Ray Zarza. Contributions may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Sue's Memory, 3455 Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30066.
