Steven D. Scheel Sr., retired Army Staff Sargeant, passed away suddenly Monday, April 12th. The memorial service is Friday, April 16th, 3PM, at King Spring Baptist Church in Smyrna, GA. No graveside service is planned. He will be remembered forever by his wife, Jeri Scheel; children: Kaylee, Steven, Emily and Nathan; parents: Mr. and Mrs. Austin Rose; and brother, Kevin Scheel.

My heart is heavy with sadness for the loss of Steven

The world will be at a loss not to have known him

He will always be remembered. Good by my friend and we will meet again some day

My condolences go out to the family of Steven.As a coworker and former army veteran I am honored to have been associated with him.Steven was a fine example of integrity and hard work.May his soul rest in peace.God bless, Brother in arms,Brad McDaniel
