AP coverage of health care bill 'disgusting'

DEAR EDITOR:

It was disgusting reading Associated Press reporter Ben Feller's March 22 story, "Obama works magic behind closed doors."

He wrote, "President Barack Obama, the most visible spokesman for health care reform, spent the final days of an exhaustive lobbying campaign working from his house."

Unless Obama has a second house in Washington, which I don't believe he does, Feller should be ashamed of himself referring to it as "his house." It is "The People's House." In my opinion, Feller made this comment as "a sarcastic attention getter."

Yes, the president is working toward owning America - the government, the White House, and everything. As of now, however, he only owns unlawful bribes to get his way, and a piece of paper with his name on it (and the half dozen pens used to write his name). I believe the Republicans - (and possibly the few Democrats who voted No) - and the American people will still have a voice after the November Election. I am now anxiously awaiting the primaries in July.

Speaking of an "exhaustive campaign," let's see if Mr. President can't spend some of that "left-over" energy on something else now - 15 months concentrating on one thing, and even handling it illegally is about as much as the good citizens of America, who deserve so much "better" and so much more, can stomach!

Fast forward to "2010 November Election"!

It's no wonder you want to forget the Bush adminsitration, that is why you have absolutely no credibility. You voted for him "twice". As far as a statute of limitations, you have a knee jerk compulsion to blame Clinton, Carter, Kennedy, Fonda etc. for everything. This from the so called party of individual responsibility?

Good Scout and Cowboy Joe, You two are quite the predictable pair of buffoons. Since there is nothing, absolutely nothing, that you can say in defense of this inept socialist leader of yours, as he tips our economic scales ever further toward there being more pigs at the trough than there is slop for them to suck out. You both have just reverted to the "Blame Bush" mode.

Oh, and Indian Joe, let's just wait until November and see what happens. The "Silent Majority" is really ticked off this time. Most of the pigs need to be paid or fed to get them to go to the polls and Acorn is out of money now.

Hey "cowboy joe", I think the statute of limitations has run out on Bush-bashing. The current administration is feverishly going about the business of creating its own monstrosities led by the new buffoon. By the way, I don't suppose you noticed the irony in your closing remark.moron.

Sarah, it's too bad there isn't an award for pettiness, you would certainly have first place. A

reporter refers to the White House as "his house"

and he uses a lot of pens to sign a historic bill.

Where were you when Bush was declaring war on the wrong country, the economy was being pushed into a depression and this country was a laughing stock

to the world because of our cowboy buffoon.

It's enjoyable to read the tantrum-like rantings of those whose economic policies and political divisiveness were so roundly rejected by the voters in 2008. Please, please MDJ print more. These people's tears are tasty to me.

Ms. Armstrong - if only what you said at the end of your letter were so "it is about as much as the good citizens of America...can stomach" were true. However, when 47 % of the people in this country pay no income tax - and probably another 10 to 15% who will be included under Obams's new tax laws, they are going to outvote the rest of us come November and 2012. Like congress voting on term limits (to do so would put them out of work) there are too many voting who have nothing to lose since they contribute nothing, so they will continue to vote for the person/party who promises "more of the same free lunches." Thought the State of the Union address in January had something about "forcusing on the economy and jobs first and foremost" - seems the focus has been on everything but. But if you have 10 of the people unemployed, and 47% who pay no taxes whatsoever (in fact get money back from what they DID NOT pay in), the rest of us are just slaves to have our money forcibly taken to provide for the rest.

Obama/Federal Gov't is on the road to owning America-every building & every citizen, legal & illegal. As of April 14th- Personal Income down 3.2% since Obama took office, Experts say expect home values to stay flat for several years, Taxes are going up & Obama says 10-12% unemployment may become standard. And some people (Obama & Socialist Liberals) call that progress we should want & embrace? WAKE UP people, get INVOLVED, & STOP this total destruction of the our country!!! Remaining silent & expecting a few people to stop this group is NOT an option.
