KITCHENS, Mrs. Betty Cecil Kitchens, age 84, of Mableton, passed away April 1, 2010. Born in Atlanta, she was a lifelong resident of the Metro Atlanta area. She was a member of Brown's Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta and Davis Chapel Baptist Church in Mableton. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Gordon E. Kitchens, Sr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gordon Kitchens, Jr. and Barbara of Atlanta; daughter, Elizabeth Lee Kitchens of Mableton; brothers Robert Smith of Loganville and Jerry Smith of Mableton; grandchildren, Shelly Marie Pollock of Grapevine, Texas, and Leslie Paige Guerreri of Missoula, Montana; great-grandchildren Phoebe Elizabeth Pollock, Elijah Powell Pollock, and Haley Paige Guerreri. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the staff of Carestone Assisted Living for their loving care and support. Graveside services will be held on April 5, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Mt.
