Lyn C. Dearborn died on March 16, 2010 at the age of 79. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyrus and Minnie Carpenter, and husband, Hank Dearborn. She is survived by her sons Steven (Lynn) Dearborn, Stacey (Jane) Dearborn, and Scott (Carron) Dearborn; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ms. Dearborn was a registered nurse; she was a graduate from the Elmira School of Nursing in Elmira, NY, and a retired psychiatric nurse from the Devereux Center for Emotionally Developmental Children and Adolescence. Lyn was an amateur Horticulturalist, and a collector of antiques. She admired Amish culture and its simplicity. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Marietta SouthCare Funeral Home at 595 Franklin Rd. SE in Marietta, GA 30067.
