EDITOR'S NOTE: Below is a selection of responses shared by readers of MDJOnline.com in reaction to recent MDJ stories ... Cobb School Board Chairwoman Lynnda Crowder-Eagle: Nothing off table for budget cuts

Anonymous wrote - Hey Linda, Nice shoes! Now just slowly turn and walk away!

Lucy W wrote - HA HA. I had to check the calendar - it isn't April 1st yet MDJ! This was a joke right? Is she acting? Or really this dumb?

The only story here is how clueless our board leader is!

Flustered wrote - I get better answers out of my teenager when he shrugs his shoulders and goes "Idontknow"

OMIPS wrote - Please tell me that this article is a joke. No one in a leadership position is this dumb. Right?

The anti-pundit wrote - This is what happens when someone mistakenly gets elected without ever having answered a question during the campaign. Voters, you must take some responsibility for electing this woman to the board.

Ms. Crowder-Eagle, you missed out on a lot of practice when you refused to campaign in your post. You must get a thick skin, which is what I believe you are trying to portray; however, you must also be open to the criticism and really listen to what people are saying, not just smile, nod and talk platitudes.

To be honest, your interview here didn't even reach the level of platitudes.

You can still turn it around though, if you shed the defensive posture and treat the MDJ as a communications tool for your organization. Listen to parents, find out what they really want and then communicate through the media rather than blame, blame, blame and bury your head in the sand on issues of importance.

Exposed again wrote - The Lynnda Crowder-Eagle interview was pitiful.

Don't look for the champions of transparency - Superintendent Fred Sanderson and his mouth piece Jay Dillon - to put it on the CCSD Web site.

Really sad wrote - Based on MDJ interview, it is obvious that LCE is clueless and an embarrassment to the Cobb School Board and school boards every where.

Sad to say wrote - Remember: It was Holli Cash, John Abraham and David Banks who elected this obvious incompetent to head our school board.

Watcher ... wrote - Ms. Crowder-Eagle has no answers, no opinions and worst of all, no VISION! She also probably needs to improve her listening skills.

Nice Job wrote - LCE- I give you an A plus for beautifully avoiding to answer a direct question. There were questions that required one word answers and you failed to give one, just like a true politician.

Downandoutineastcobb wrote - I was going to write something poignant to convey my rage at this deeply disappointing and poorly equipped woman - but all of my fellow citizens beat me to it. It's time for east Cobb to pull out of Cobb.

Judge Busch resigns ...

Oh Pulleeeese wrote - "Proud of her exemplary record"? Ms. Busch's arrogance knows no humility. This could have been a turning point for her, but no, she continues her denial of reality.

Obviously, Ms. Busch has not hit bottom yet and continues to believe her troubles are the result of other people's actions and not hers.

Now the big question is where is state Sen. John Wiles's resignation? If Wiles has any honor left, he would resign before he is trounced at the polls in November. Then again, Wiles probably believes he will be reelected comes November.

Better Things To Do wrote - Cleaning up at 3 a.m. after these kids! That is a crime and punishment all wrapped into one!

WestCobber wrote - I think the judge has finally made a good decision. I really don't understand why it took her so long to do this knowing she was under investigation and tried to keep this quiet. But like I said, the right thing has been done now and hopefully this case will be handled in the proper way.

West Cobb Resident wrote- I'll drink to that!

Fin wrote - Wow ... after almost three months, they finally decide to file charges. Way to go, justice system ...

What were the names? wrote - I would still like to know where the other parents were.

What do they have to say to the public about this judge letting their kids get drunk in her home?

Or, were they all kids of Cobb County Public Officials?
