The red carpet will be rolled out on March 7 for Atlanta's official Oscar Night America party, benefiting the Center for Family Resources. Six hundred guests are expected to attend the premier gala at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre beginning at 7:30 p.m.

WSB-TV's Jovita Moore will be the mistress of ceremonies. Guests may attend as sponsors or individual ticket holders. While sponsors are invited to enjoy a seated dinner before the telecast, both individual ticket holders and sponsors will enjoy the viewing party festivities.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at www.THECFR.org. Individual tickets for viewing party are $25. Visit www.AtlantaRedCarpet.com for more information.

Actors Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will co-host the 82nd Academy Awards. While experiencing fashion, film and entertainment on the big screen, guests can take a spin on the dance floor or chat over cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dessert. A raffle and silent auction will also take place.

The evening will be one to remember with members of Dad's Garage Theatre Company playing the part of the paparazzi and impersonating Hollywood favorites; a fortuneteller on hand predicting the gold; and a caricature artist drawing favorite stars.

Glenn Brock of Brock, Clay, Calhoun & Rogers, LLC chairs the event along with his wife, Alice. "We are proud to have the opportunity to bring this piece of Hollywood to Atlanta," he said. "This is a fantastic evening to celebrate the best in film, but the event serves a larger purpose in assisting those without the resources create a home and better life for their families."

Since 1960, CFR has helped thousands of low-income families with employment, education and housing services; leadership development programs, mentoring opportunities; and temporary financial and food assistance. Guided by organizational value of family integrity, results, service and teamwork, CFR is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by helping families acquire the resources they need to become financially independent and self-sufficient.

"WellStar Health System is pleased to support The Center for Family Resources and Oscar Night America. We share a dedication to serving this community, especially those facing a crisis or financial hardship. The CFR should be proud of their 50-year history of service, and WellStar wishes them continued success in the future," said Lou Little, CFR Board Chair and Senior Vice President at WellStar Health System, a Signature Host sponsor of the event.
